    Eurovox ex7000hd+ firmware problems

I have noticed of late that people had had a few Issues with the firmware not exluding myself. I have created this thread for people to list the issues they have been having. Please be aware this is NOT a complaint thread! It is merely to make higher powers that may be reading aware of problems in the hope of getting the most problematic ones ironed out.
For me the main ones are channel changing is a little slow, epg seems to take a while to load, certain channels get missed out of the scan (although this may not be a f/w issue) Favourite catagories can not be edited to the order of your liking.
If anyone has any issues about f/w NOT COMPLAINTS, Then please post in this thread.
If any mods are reading this it might be a good idea to direct people with ex7000hd f/w comments to this thread if it's no trouble.
    Thanks guys,
    Lanx.

They are already aware Lanx, like all new boxes there are bugs. Reports have been flooding in from everywhere at this stage.

Yes Ive mentioned to other people about being patient about the f/w as it's still early days for it, It is just a place to post about problems they have had. There is no pig headedness involved here satsmo, No harm intended mate.

      Thanks.

No harm taken. The thread title may help keep more of the reports/comments in here rather than having them spread across a few threads.

f/w quetions only in this thread mate, but just to answer your question. The majority voted for the usb slot to be at the back instead of the front,Only the pre sale version had the usb at the front.

Make sure when you put the firmware on the usb stick that you switch the box off at the back and then back on again after that the box should find the fw on the usb stick mate.

you have to unrar it with WinRar and you get a flash.tbn file - that's what you need to flash it with

you have to use the main cable feed that comes into your house for your first install.

This helps but not nessesary, I have scanned 3 boxes with a split cable and have picked up all the channels right away.
