      ok look back through the posts and use the firmware i posted thats the most up to date one. But remember it's not for clones, so unless it is for sure a GENUINE red it will be safe.
      Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.

          From what I could see from the doc, you would need to open the box up to be able to tell. Sorry I can't say that there are any obvious signs, I may be wrong though.
          Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.

            Ok I think i can help,

            1) Starting at the rear right hand corner count the number of slots the tuner is visible for. If its 8 slots (as in Photo 5 above) your OK it’s a Red or Black box – No need to carry on.

              its exactly 8 slots down ive downloaded and flashed now im searching- feel like im praying for a new tv channel!! ha
