eurovox ex5100 cloned ?

hi, im waiting for a ex5100 pvr to be delivered, and have been reading about all the clones that are out there, ex5000 starviews etc, and how genuine software can kill clones, could anyone tell me am i clone safe with this box at the moment. cheers

downloaded the ex5100 firmware from this site, it shows up as a square white box, is this all i need or is there another file to go with it, cheers.

Thats all you need, hook the box up via null modem cable and press the top download button.
