hi people need a bit of help with me ex5000 vox.

put new firmware on getting all the channels sound but there not saving to favs automatic.
I did save the data and flashed it back but wean i go to favs its just says no channels saved.
i no u can set the favs up ur self but its a f**kin pain.
i liked it the way it was be for. am thinking if i system reset the box then flash firmware on it again it mite sort the channels back in the favs again like it did be for.
only had this box 3 or 4 months had a old one witch was sound but don't know about this one.
am not one for asking for help i read all the good post and then sort things out me self tried a few things but am a bit stuck on this one.....thanks for any help

Have you dwlded the fw with the autosort feature? If you have the make sure autosort is set to on before you scan mate.

ye mate not with the first one but the second one ye.
i D-loaded first one with out the auto-sort and it didn't work then dun the one with auto-sort still didn't work.
it was OK wean i dun it last time wean all the boxes went down
but this time it don't work.
Ill just have to sort them me self.

If you have the one with the autosort, do a factory reset and when it gets to the part where you have to scan go to advanced installation and there will be an optin at the bottom called FAV SORT, make sure this is set to on mate.

tried everything as above and no luck for 2 months then i had to sort my favs manually as THE FACTORY RESET deleted them after fw update. other boxes i did not factory reset are OK.

I've had no luck its not auto-sorting sooooooooooooooooo I've put them in me self.got the channels in the right place were i wont them to be.don't no were to put the ~~~~o channels tho....

I put them in with the sports matey!
Might be a good idea to back your cdf up on your pc too.
Glad you got sorted.
