has anyone managed to get this tbn editor to work, everytime I send it back to the box via USB it bears no resemblence to how I set the channels

I think this is a firmware issue mate. Be patient, I'm sure there will be a fw release soon that will address these issues.

thanks knew I could rely on you, thought it was me and finger trouble. Must say I wish they had left the recording section like it was on the 500 i.e. just hit the record button in grid rather than having to reserve it. Sure they have thought about this and other issues to, great box though apart from the initial niggles

Yeah still early days yet mate, Nothing to worry about. The little niggles will be ironed out with future fw updates, I'm sure of it.
