usb firmware to eurovox pvr5000?

im selling my old box the eurovox pvr5000,and thought i'd be nice to make sure it has latest firmware,problem i have is this pc im using doesn't have the serial port to use the cab;e and don't fancy setting up old pc just to do that,is it possible to flash it via a usb like u do with the eurovox ex7000 hd model,if so where do i get the right files so it reads it from usb?

Theres no USB port for a pen drive in the EX5000 so you cant flash it with that only via the serial RS232 Null modem cable and a USB adapter if needed.

Press Menu, Config, System info and type back whats in there, I can then tell you if its up to date.
