eurovox max v 2008

just got myself a eurovox maxv 2008 the problem is that it wont take any updates..it downloads the file to the box but after 50secs of writing file it starts flashing err..had a look at software already on box and to me it looks like it is the software for an ev2..any help appreciated

this is the f/w you need for the max v box mate, Be sure the box is NOT a clone.

Also remember to have the box in stanby when flashing.

tried the f/w maxv autosort 51208 on the box but still the same result checked the system info and this is what is on it

forgot to mention that i went to scan and it doesnt give me a deep scan option it had a powerscan on the blue button so scanned anyway get all channels but only fta workin

Where did you purchase the box from, have you checked it to see if its a clone?.

bought on fleebay, checked to see if it is clone doesnt look as if it is..tuner only goes to 8 slots,silver cover on scart no red screws the only difference i can see is the psu it doesnt have green caps and connects to main board with single strand cables not solid when i put box on today all channels had gone except 4 of them which were on box when i got it
