Eurovox Max V 2008 Not Flashing

i'm having a problem with a eurovox max v 2008. ive flashed loads of boxes before doin it the same way.

first it detected the box, the display lights started circling, as if it was just turned on, then nothing. since then its struggled to detect it.

ive recently changed my supplier, as the boxes i was getting were clones but im pretty certain this is an original.

any ideas?

Try all the ideas given if your still having problems come back.

i tried everything but the reset buton. probably obvious, but where is it on the box as i cant find it.

had same prob..all i did was start right from start..unplug every thing and start all over again.. took a couple of goes but it worked for me ..

been in touch with my supplier for these boxes there was a problem with them he told me to bring it back the problem was loading firmware he said they work when they please so it may of been a batch i got two in early dec o8 it may be the same problem

thanks again, the box came with a eurovox sticker on the back (as to keep it seeled) says if seel is broken warrenty is void. ill try unplugging everything and starting from scratch. if thats doesnt work think ill just return it.

And you are still sure its a genuine box???

2008 boxes went out of production last augest and were replaced by 5000pvr so unless its a used box then doubtfull if its genuine

pretty sure yeah. ive tried both firmware's anyway and its the same problem for both. ive tried a factory reset, before ive tried to load the software but still nothing.

ive got a jtag kit aswell, was thinkin of trying tha but like i said if i break the seal i cant send it back.

Just send it back if its still under warranty.

Who did you used to get your clones from? Would be useful to know so we could avoid them

hiteck ive found the problem with my box it was a chip fault with the null modem port on the box they exchanged it and i flashed new one straight away it was from sat and cable its not a clone it looks genuine again thanks for all ur help m8
