    Channels not available

    Hi there,
I have read the forum and by the help of the guidance notes i flashed my red eurovox successfully but when i connected it to the tv it says "channels not available"

I have also tried doing the power scan with the symbol rate as 6887 according to the westyorkshire area i live in.no channels found yet.

    Please experts! help needed.

    regards

Try 6952 as your symbol rate, it all depends on where about in west yorkshire you live.

I've got the same problem, i've done a factory reset with the latest firmware on my eurovox max blue.

Still comes up channel not available after doing a power scan.

When it's doing its power scan it's coming up "TP" which i'm guessing is transponders....it finds 36 of them and then it tries to find TV and Radio channels but wont find a thing.

Any suggestions, signal level is about 80% but seems to drop to 5% every now and again...any ideas if it could be a faulty tuner?

Take out any splitters and check all your cabling and connectors..

I've removed the splitter but still get about 83% signal.

I've even tried putting on a cdf file from my area but it doesn't recognise the it settings - it shows the channel name but doesn't show anything.

I've tried adding a signal booster but still no channels after doing another power scan.

That's more than likely because the cdf file has a different symbol rate for what's required in your area.

I read somewhere that 80% is about the optimum signal strength that you need on cable.

Also, are you sure that you haven't got a clone box and are using the incorrect firmware?
