    please help - eurovox max blue 2006

    hi ive just recently had a problem withe the blue eurovox 06, ive downloaded the firmware from my pc in the past and never had a problem, and recently downloaded the december 08 version of the firmware and now when i go to turn on the box all that comes up is a black screen, ive tried everything i can think of, checked all the connections there all grand, tried downloading the firmware again and again and still the exact same. if any1 has had this problem before or knows how to fix it id really appreciate it if you could let me know, thanks

    So the box boots up OK? does the remote work? have you tried a different scart lead also you could try connecting via an RF cable from the back of the box,



    After connecting the RF cable you will have to tune your TV in, give it a try and let us know.

      you need to get the menu back up using rf connection as hiteck says ,
      once you have done this, do a factory reset then flash the box with the clone safe firmware for max blue,
      if the genuine firmware is knocking the scart out its a clone box .

        thats excellant, thanks, got the box back working, theres just 1 thing thats not working right, the channels sky1, sky2, channel 4, film 4 and the rest on that frequency arent working, youse wouldnt by any chance have the correct frequencys for ntl, symbol rate 6887, think a few of them might be mixed up. thanks again, yas have been a great help..
