what eurovox is this?

I've been given a eurovox to fix but never done one before.

Is it a 'red' or 'blue' eurovox max?

Not got a remote either .

In fact, just put it on sky sports 1 and it's working so not sure what's wrong . But would be good to find out what it is.

theres a way of counting slots in the tuner vent but l just write the filmware over and if you send red and its a blue one the software tells u the one u have , but without the remote u cant scan but u can flash it , but if its working it must have the right f/w on it , unless if we all waited two weeks r boxes would off come back on any way

Just for future reference.

If you look where the tuner is at the back, then view the tuner through the slots (airvents) on top of box., back right corner

If you count the slots on the top up to the end of tuner, if there is 11 slots up to the end of tuner then its a bluemax and if there is 8 slots up to the end of tuner then its a redbox.

While you have the box Glen, it would be good if you could take a photo showing the number of slots to end of tuner so others will have a reference to look at. Just a thought. I saw one before and it clearly showed the tuner through the slots but I cant find it.
