    2 days and still not fixed my eurovox

    hi guys i dont want to let this beat me, any ideas as to why i'm havin this problem, i've read onnother forums that there is a thing called an 8% signal problem and this maybe whats happened to me, also someone said maybe the fuse in the tuner cud be gone seen as it cant pick up a transponder, any ideas guys, i have faith in yee.....

    after u have flashed it and u have to do a power scan on the top u have to change area frequency wot do u change that to ie 6887 or is two to pick

      its setup on 6887 and when i scan i get no transponders found...

        ok then . lets recap

        1.your in ireland
        2.your feed is in rf and not aerial
        3.6887 is your area
        4.its searching through 30 odd transponders
        5.your box is a max v
        6.u have installed the cho-us image

        right so far m8

          no cant find any transponders at all, i installed the firmware that works with chorus also but i'm with ntl, goin footie now for an hour an ideas what to do let us know cheers

              if you have any channs at all...to check you havnt got the dreaded 8%...press the info button twice...the signal and quality will be at...you guessed it 8%.

                  Its been out since the 28/04 Bill but will fix most but not all boxes with the 8 % problem. People also mistakenly assume its an 8% problem but they are scanning on the wrong provider, not saying thats what the OP done.
