voice over on ex5100

i have a eurovox ex5100 i have noticed when i watch east enders on bbc 3 i seem to get a voice over that tells me what is happeing i have read the mannual to see if this can be deactivated but cannot find a answer has any body easle noticed this and do you no if it cane be deactiated it is anoyying thanks deano
