    jtaging a eurovox

    Hi Guys
Using the firmware here,i have managed to convert my EV2 to an EV MAX BLUE,as the EV2 kept on crashing leaving me with a green screen.
This fixed the problem, but now sometimes the box freezes on a channel leaving me unable to change without a reboot.
Also i can't load the latest AU update as the UFL will not work with the box, apparently the UFL has some sort of code or chipset checker built in to combat clones, some EV2's work with it some don't.
I'm going to try jtaging the box and loading a blue TSOP file.
The software on my instruction cd has jkeys D2,and sky max.
Whats the difference between the two?
And which one should i use?

    Cheers

If your box has an Intel chipset use Jkeys, if it is ST use SkyMax.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

      Hi satsmo
how do i identify the chipset.
the big square one on the board says ST omega STi5518bqc.
The small rectangle one by it says Intel and along with some numbers is written flash
