    Problem with COM ports

Hi, the other day i flashed my freinds max v no problem and now i have come to do my pvr ex5000 with the correct firmware and im getting "no available COM ports"

Im not sure what to do because I havent changed anything in there from when I did the max v, or is that the problem? does something need to be changed?

device status says its working correctly

Com port number may have changed, you need it to be assigned between 1 and 4 on an unused port.

Take a look here regards settings http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-eurovox-9786/

Are you using a null modem cable or a combination of null modem cable and a USB adapter?

Uninstall the USB adapter driver and re install again, thats if you have a disk for it. If not there is a drivers thread here somewhere, I can find one for you there.
