Eurovox max (2 scart) remote issue

Hi guys, I have Eurovox Max Blue(2 scart) and it got stuck.

I have reflashed it using dnupman and I have used the latest firmware from eurovox firmware section EV2_FIX_291108_CORE_070506.BIN. I have checked before reflash and I am happy that box is not a clone. After reflashing, remote stopped being recognised by the box. I have checked the remote using phone camera and it works so no problem there.

I can only change channels using buttons on the box. I can see channels are fine so reflash was sucessfull but I can not use remote and reorganise channels, etc. what is annoying.

Any ideas how to get remote working again?

Have you tried a standard Max remote on it? Thats if you know someone with one.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone. Any other ideas?

You need to get a Max remote, couple of quid on Ebay. Or you can revert back to your older firmware, it wont AU but remote will work.

As said a new remote is probably better. You can then update the EV2 to take the Blue Max firmware. You can do this via a firmware update although it works better, (more stable if jtagged).

But for now a remote is the easiest option.

your post says you have a max blue but you have flashed with ev2 firmware your max remote won't work as you have flashed wrong firmware ?
ev2 is silver
eurovox 2006 (blue )is grey both have 2 scarts

Refleshed with UFL_MAX_BLUE_30_11_08.exe and problem solved. Must have been wrong firmware although instructions which came with the box suggested using EV2. Thanks guys for you help.

Leave the battery out and clean the infared at he top of the remote , replace battery .
