    cdf areas

ive got my max v up and working now - but just out of interest - ive found in the download area the cdf files which i assume is all the chanels grouped in the right order etc on their correct frequancies for the area you are in.

1 question though... if i'm in macclesfield, how would i know if im under the warrington (cheshire) or manchester 1 or 2 - is there a way to find out?

Best to save your own cdf file first then simply try some of the local cdf files out. You can get a list from the VM website of the channels that you can receive in your area.

according to that site i'm on " You are on the Bromley (ex. Cable & Wireless) platform."

but that is nowhere near me - in fact couldnt be any further away... -strange.

but with the setting on 6.925 ive got around 248 tv and 47 radio chanels, signal strength at 89%.
