hi, try putting hd in and out few times to get good connection,(dont turn box off at night), i have had few prob's with ex5100 myself, some times if a recording has gone you can get it back on by putting it on standby turning it off at the back then after 20 secs turn it back on and when the display shows 12.00 press the standby button, check pvr see if recording is back on.

yes, I have the same problem, after recording a prog, the pvr menu comes up blank. I have to turn the box off and on again, then this reboots the hard drive and up comes the list of recorded progs. A bit annoying!!
