Ex7000 vs Ex1000 (picture quality)

I currently have an ex1000 and i'm wondering if the picture quality of the ex7000 is noticabley better than the ex1000. If anyone has tried both, does the ex7000 upscaling facility make much of a difference.

don't have the ex 1000, but have both MaxV connected by scart and ex7000 connected by HDMI.

No noticeable difference between standard def channels on either box. BBC HD though is fantastic quality

From what i have heard BBC HD isn't live until 8pm and even then there aren't many programs. Do you know what programmes are currently being shown.
