Do you have the latest firmware ?

I downloaded the latest firmware from this site 18-02-09, it was dated 28-01-09 2.23mb (thanks to satmo), thinking this was a newer version than the firmware I have dated 08-01-09 2.22mb I downloaded it and reflashed my EX7000 only to find it was the same version, so I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of this version for you to see, then all you have to do is look at your version to see if its the same, this saves you downloading and reflashing your EX7000.

To check your firmware on your box select Menu - System -Sys info

If anyone has a later version pherhaps they could take a photo of the menu-system info on your EX7000 box, that way we can see if we have the same or older firmware.

Hope this helps some of you.

It is the latest firmware in downloads. If you look at your last update ,(after the flash), it says the 22nd, which is correct. Your version info remains the same as it was a patch to the original firmware with some bugs irons out. Admittedly there are still a few more.

        Hi there,

Yes I know the version you put there is the latest, what I am saying is, if it was later than my version would it not read software vol1.01.01 ?

All software updates have to be logged with ref No.s otherwise we would not know what updates if any we have. Sometimes we have recalls, without this information the user would not be aware of the problem they may or may not have.

The point I was making was to help some of the readers to make a simple check of H/W or S/W updates.

No worries it was more a patch than a complete firmware upgrade as said hence why your SW version remains.

You can download after one post and a few minutes wait, so you should be able to get it now. Take a read of the red stickies at the top of this section to help you flash your box.
