    Eurovox Help

Hello! I'm new to all of this eurovox stuff and to be 100% honest I don't really get it!!!

I inherited my dads old eurovox... its a max v. He was using it fine and then got sky sp its been sat in the cupboard for maybe 3-4months so I reflashed it but it's still not finding any channels so I was just wondering what I need to do?

    Thanks a lot

Hi and welcome to the forum Take a look at the red stickies at the top of this section. They will have all the info you require.

If you get stuck post back here.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

If you're not using the cable feed for anything else in your house it's more than likely been switched off.

We have both a cable and satelite connection in the house and both are used... the cable maily for internet and phone though!

My friend thinks that there is something wrong with the 'image' on the box but I don't actually know what the 'image' is and what I'm meant to do about it?!?!

        Thanks!

I read the instructions on how to flash the eurovox and I have done it correctly.

I'm not sure what 'if not enter new keys manually' means though?

Thanks so much for the help!!

                            Thank You!!!

I've put the data in and gonna leave it to find the channels whilst I go out... If this doesn't work I officially give up and will miss the oscars tonight!!

I swear this is the last question I ask as I'm beyond caring about this box business!!

The problem appears to be a low strength, low quality signal which means its not picking up any channels so would that be associated with the wiring of my cable connection in my house? If it is I can get the guy who did it back round to do a proper job!
