Try Alex at Awsatellites he may have one or two of the old EV2 remotes. That or reflash it, (or Jtag it) and allow it to work with later firmware versions and a Max remote.

                Hi,
I thought my dog had been biting my remote for a Eurovox max V so I ordered one from ebay. Paid about a fiver but then discovered that the box needed flashing again and once done so, old and new remote worked fine. Now got two. One on my side of the bed and one on the missus side. Mad or what?

If you have put the latest blue firmware on your box then you won't need keys just go to sky sports and leave till it clears

You've got lucky as most of the Eurovox 2s don't take the max blue firmware, you have to use the max blue clonesafe usually.

Anyway as the poster above says it will autoupdate.

If you want to put keys in go to menu>language, highlight second one down and press 1968 then find provider and enter keys.

If you go to menu>language and press 1968 on top one in menu it will show emu options in the menu.

Fair enough Paula Abdul but don't you think it might come in handy in the future?
In fact it will come in handy in the future.

am sure it is a sticky above on how to enter keys manually or would be a big thread when the next hit comes but total waste of time instructing someone how to do it when au firmware is avalable

The "How To" thread is here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...eurovox-12861/ . The reasons behind people not updating to AU firmware is another thing.

Well i'm sorry for trying to help someone but ocassionaly it can be quicker first time to manualy update keys after flashing the box and anyway i'm sure some will find it usefull as not everyone has updated to latest fw for whatever reason as Satsmo has pointed out.

I never knew there was a sticky for it but threre's plenty stuff on this site that i haven't seen yet.
