no audio/video data eurovox 5100 pvr

Hello all I have the Eurovox 5100 and have flashed it with the firmware and also installed the correct freq, symble rate channels for my area (carlisle 322.00 6887) it has installed all the channels but the only ones I can view are the freeview channels when I look at the other channels I get a information box saying no audio/video data
can someone please advise me what it could be

Are you sure it took the flash? Press menu, config and system info post what it says please. You dont need to input the frequency unless you know where it starts and stops. The SR is sufficient.

It should only take a minute or two to update on Sly Sports.

when i uploaded it from my laptop it said upload succesful so I presumed it has

I don't have any hard drrive installed in the box yet, was making sure it all works before buying the hd do you think that might be the problem

are you sure it will work in your area ? parts of your area are wight cable ? and eurovox won't work ,starview do though

got a starview and it works perfect, can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I should sell my Eurovox I paid ?100 for it and would like to recoup it, I tried flybay but it got taken off

If you starview works then so will the eurovox, check that emulation is turned on, press menu then OK on language settings, type 1968 a new column will show at the bottom called emulation, pull down and enable it save and exit.

I have spent loads of time trying to get eurovox working in wight cable areas ,they did work up to 2 years ago and went down ,starview and dm didn't .arnets and eurovox won't work in wightcable areas we have one up near glasgow also

I even went as far as buying starview as replacements for the guys in the wightcable area when it happened and was not one or two boxes

I have retried the eurovox and enabled it but still no good I can get the bbc chanels but that is it all the others say no audio/video data
