Pvr5000 and the curious case of the missing sky1

Set up a pvr5000 for me dad and had a small problem sky1 wont work.
did all i know including factory reset, flashed, powerscan, manual scan, update.
while doing all this i found that all the channels were found at 83% quality during the scan, but sky1 that is within the 131.000mhz family was scrambled at 70% quality and all channels on that mhz strength has a choppy picture.
I checked for a splitter and there isnt any, just 1 wire that forms into 2, "crimped or sommet" (pops said)
Well anyway my question is as follows, what can i do about this?

hi ,,

try adding 000.500 hz to the freq,,so it becomes 131.500,,

and see what happens,, if not try taking away .5 so it becomes 130.500,,
