5100 PVR help please

Have had my box a few weeks and starting to give up on it now
Ive done a scan on symbol rate 6952 Wirral picks up chanels but signal goes from 8% to 80% every few seconds, my VM box works fine. I gave my 5100 to a guy in work he took it home and it worked fine.

Any ideas?

Poor connection or and bad splitter. If you have a splitter remove it and try again.

Not useing a splitter and have tried 2 different cables, it's not like i can phone Virmin to complain about the signal going up and down as it works fine with the VM box.

If it works at your mates house ok then it can only be down to a signal issue at your end. Subbed receivers aren't as sensitive as the EV. Make sure you have got the cable feed plugged in the RF in at the back of the box and not the ant socket.
