Eurovox EX1000SL

I wanted to ask for your help with the Eurovox EX1000SL.

I can say that I am pretty competent on the Ex5000PVR which I have got working perfectly, big thanks to HiTeck. I was thinking of getting a EX1000SL for the bedroom as its small and looks good.

Is the principal exactly the same as the Ex5000PVR:-

1.Download latest firmware from the web site.
2.Connect to PC via null modem cable.
3.Open file and click on the big download button.

Can I download my CDF file from me EX5000 onto the EX1000SL or are they not compatiable?

Yes exactly as you said above and your CDF is compatible also.

can someone please explain how I download on here for my eurovox box as it says I dont have permission!!

its a eurovox 1000sl and all the channels seem to say bad reception or scrambed channel, please help!!!

To have permission to download the latest firmware you will need to make at least 3/4 posts.

Hi guys i bort a eurovox ex1000sl bout 3 weeks ago was working fine then went jumpy and crakly so i updted yesterday went fine agen now gone a bit crakly n jumpy any 1 help im in manchester area but im thinking that it mite be because they are getting ready for the digital switch over that y there is interuption stil got all chanels etc.. cheers
