    how do i transfer from hard drive to pc

    hi all looking for some help for a friend he has a eurovox pvr 5000 has recorded programes and now wants to know how to transfer them to his pc i know we need a rs-232 cable (got one) but what next any help would be greatly appreciated thanks nick

    Sorry but you cannot do this. You can share recordings from box to box by swapping the HDD between both but no from box or HDD to pc.

      No can do mate!
      My supplier told me this could be done when I purchased my box
      but after several email... no reply.
      I have looked on other forums and it not possible...YET

        u probably could do it with the set up in the enclosed pic its a tevion pvr i use it to copy vhs tapes but i can also use it to record off my eurovox on to my computer, as for direct transfer from 5000 to computer i doubt it if there is a way it will be very complicated.
