help with sound on my eurovox

can anyone help , just put a splitter on the cable and run the cable into my sons room , i can get a picture but only a hissing sound , ive tried another tv on the cable and still the same , please help !!!!!!!!

what type of connection are you using to the tv?

Check the conection to the tv.
is the other box working fine?

check with another box and check that the copper wire sticks out further than the end of the F-connector by about half a cm on each connection

JUST TRIED OTHER BOX AND STILL THE SAME , IM USING THE TV ADAPTER ON THE BACK OF THE BOX AND THIS PLUGS STRAIGHT INTO THE AERIAL SOCKET ONTO THE BACK OF THE TV
