    Eurovox EX7000 constantly rebooting!

I have recently bought a EX7000 but it is continually turning itself off and back on again.

Has anyone else had this problem - is it a software issue or is it something more sinister?

I would love it sorted before the Inter game!!!

I have one mate, Gotta say never experienced anything like that before. Sounds a bit dubious to me, Try unplugging at the mains and plug it back in again if you haven't already. Did you load firmware onto it or has it been doing this straight out the box mate?

This problem started straight out of the box. I've tried completely unpluging it & installed the firmware but continues to turn itself off & reboots with the initial installation screen shown.

If it was doing this from out of the box mate, Sounds like you got a lemon. I suggest contacting the supplier and having it changed mate.

Phoned them this morning & he told me to try installing the firmware again & recontact him if not fixed.

Now not taking calls & website gone down - worrying!

Where did you get the box from mate? If you're worried about posting the name on here pm me.

Finaly got through to him on the 12th time of calling - he is e-mailing me his returns details so I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Said he is gonna check the box before sending me a replacement incase I have broken it, although I fail to see how as it done this straight from turning it on.

Fingers crossed - thanks for your advice

If not resolved - I'll gladly name & shame - or hopefully give praise accordingly.

I've had Starviews for years with no problems - hope this box is worth the wait & the pound notes......

You can try loading firmware by RS232, but there have been a few faulty ones doing that. If the RS232 flash doesn't work, return it to the supplier assuming it's still in warranty
