    Cant download firmware for ex7000 - help

    hi guys, i dont seem to be able to download the firmware for the ex7000 hd+, i am tring to open it with winrar but it keeps coming up the archive is unkown format or damaged. i have had the box 3 days now i am using rs232 cable to upload it, i have used this method with a few previous eurobox's. please explain in simple terms what i am doing wrong and how i can get my box up and running. i have followed the stickies ect on here but still no joy. do i need something other than winrar to open it ?. any help would be gratefulf.

      Better using a USB stick to download firmware to the EX7000. You can use a null modem cable with the STBM loader but USB is preferred.

      I am testing the latest firmware at the moment and will put it in downloads after it has run for a while.

          Hi satsmo, i have done the download via usb pen and managed to download the firmware thank's, but now i am getting only FTA channel's all the sly one's are downloaded and showing on the menu list's ect but not getting any reception from them although they are showing the detail's ect, i had living tv and a cpl other's music one's last night but none of the sport's, movie's documentries ect.

                  It has been uploaded by a member, (Hob), here Digital Kaos - Downloads - *NEW* EX7000HD Firmware update

                  Its the same one I have been running. Even though dated the 12/03/09 it should say 030309 in system info. The improvements are more associated to areas that suffered a weak signal/scanning problems.

                  Channel change is a bit better and some other minor improvements. But the FAV problem is still there, but for those with scanning issues this should solve it.
