Hi all

Really need some help
My box hasn't worked since the november
It worked fine before that
I've flashed it, numerous times, down the cdf file and nothing
Either it says searching for signal or no signal. Signal level 8%
However last week i tried again
Usual system reset, flash, download cdf and then powerscan
Guess what it worked
Everything was working
BUT the front display had no digits on it
Next morning again No signal
That night I did the above again and it worked but no fromt display
Lasted about 3 days then picture started to breakup
i.e picture and then no signal picture then no signal
I got a new cable thinking it may help but to no avail
Now I get either searching for signal or no signal
Can someone help as I now totally lost
Could it be the cdf is outdated
I'm in leicester and have the cdf from december
Could it be the box is knacked
Can it be repaired
Someone's advice can really help

some times you can reflash the box box with red firm ware it might catch it but sounds like it might bneed jtagged

Forget using the CDF and do a factory default then power scan on the correct symbol rate, as for the display problem take the lid off, you will see a ribbon coming from the display, unplug it from the main board and plug it back in all the way down.

I don't think its a clone and as said above may need to be jtagged
I will however take the cover of and disconnect the ribbon and reconnect it then do a powerscan without the cdf
Will let you know what happens
I have done this before but it hasn't worked
But you never know!!
