    Ex7000HD Problems

I Downloaded The *NEW* EX7000HD Firmware 12/03/09, And When I Flashed he Box I Did A full Factory Reset And a Deep Scan. But When the Scan Finishes I'm Not Getting Half As Many Channels As I Was Previous. I Have Re Scaned Many Times And still the Same? Im In Dublin On NTHELL, If Anyone has any suggstions?

Dublin and other parts of Ireland are losing channels due to an encryption changeover. However you should not be losing half your channels as of yet.

Do a factory reset and scan on the correct symbol rate from the direct feed. If you are using a splitter take it out for the initial scan. Should be no need for a deepscan.

A powerscan using 6887 as your SR and start at 290.00Mhz end at 420.00Mhz should be sufficient.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

will channels be permanently lost due to encryption changeover,or just temporary? also when i do just a power scan it only finds 9 main signals where it used to find 13! i have 3 Eurovox max in the house and there all running perfectly!
