    external/internal splitters

I have managed to learn a lot from this forum and in particular how get my Ex5000 flashed and up and running.

I am intending to set my girlfriend up with a Eurovox too. Her house has had vm perviously but I am going to have to run a cable to her room from outside. There is a brown box on the outside of the house, which is where the main feed comes to from the pits in the pavements. From this point different feeds branch off to different points in the house should a connection be needed. Is the splitter in this brown box the same as the splitters used internally mounted on the walls. Are they also the same as splitters that are used after the mounted white boxes internally.

If I was to take a feed from the brown box on the outside of the house, can it go straight through to a EUrovox or do I need to mount an internal white box with a connection point.

Also are the splitters in maplins sufficient.

    Thanks.
