max v totally dead

just replaced c14 for m8 and there is no power in his box .
he told me it was stuck on stand by but we tried to power it up before replacing c14 and it was dead.
tried all i.e plug fuse and reset in box .

Check the ouputs from the PSU with a multimeter cam. Did you fit the cap the right way round?, make sure the line or arrows on the cap lines up with the marker on the board.
