updating codes on eurovox sl1000

firstly i downloaded the official firmware from cable box 4 sharing then connected box it found lots of channels but they were all scrambled so i uploaded my channel list then downloaded a modded version connected up again and instead of scrambled channels i got searching for codes it did this for agaes flashing now and again thought box had crashed so tried pressing menu button and it went to menu left it for a bit longer then got pissed off so did a new fast scan this took about 30 mins this time have i broke it for one and if not how do i get these dammmm channels any help would be great thank you. im also not happy cus i wanted to buy the hdd one but ordered this crap. anyway thank you in advance.

it sounds like you need to flash the box with the up to date firmware from this site you may only have the free to air firmware on it at the moment ,thats why hiteck is asking you what does it say in the system info so he can answer you question.
this is a good basic box m8 ,dont take it out on the box just yet.
