just about to flash my ex5000 pvr box with the new software it says in downloads save your cdf first?does anyone know what cdf is

CDF means Channel data or Dump file, it is a preconfigured channel set up for your location and service provider, If you want to save and old cdf from another box just press upload, if your doing a fresh flash and you dont have another box just flash your box then factory default then power-scan.
