EX7000 HD Eurovox

Just got the above box yesterday, even after several scans unable to open any chanells apart from the FTA, I remember having the same problem with Eurovox Max few years back because the Codes for this area (AYR) are not the same as majority of the service providers, we have a service providers called Smallworld, My question is how can I input the codes in EX7000, what menu to use?.

I believe you can input the codes manualy.
Have you checked the download section where there is a full tutorial

I presume you have flashed the latest firmware on your box

Probably the easiest way is to edit the keys in the STBM application and transfer them to/from your box on a USB key drive

hi all i got an ex 7000 today and have flashed about 50 times and the pay channels are scrambled every time i rescan it. i renamed the file flash.tbn every time. do i need to unzip the downloaded firmware with something before i send it to the pen drive. this is driving me mad cos i also have the ex5100 and a ex1000 and never had any probs i think the fware is going in because it says jan14 2009 on the system info thanks in advance steve

depending where you got the file it will be either a .zip or .rar file and the file has to be first extracted and then that files name has to be changed to flash.tbn and then put onto your stick

hiya thanks for replies so quick still struggling used a rar extractor and then renamed it and sent it to the pen still only getting fta it is picking every transponder and channel up but scrambled when i try to view sports or movies thanks again steve ps when i look on the box it says flash.tbn.tbn is this causing the probs

so you have all the channels but thay are scrambled did you put the latest firmware on it 12/3 /09

If the flash is succesfull the date in System Info should be March 09. I reckon it didn't work because the file isn't flash.tbn.
Try renaming the file to flash.tbn (you may need to set Windows to show file extensions - in My Computer: Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab -> untick "Hide extensions for known file types").
After this, you should be able to plug into your Eurovox and turn it which should automatically flash.

hiya guys i am up and running the problem was my computer was writing tbn itself so i named it just flash and bingo .the box wouldnt read it cos it read tbn twice thanks everybody for your help steve
