Yes have the eurovox and pc connected with the lead and saved the download to my desktop.

OK I will presume for now its connected correctly,

Plug the box into the mains and leave it in standby, open the file you downloaded to your desktop once loaded it will look like this,



Once its loaded press the top download button then start.

Does it say waiting for the response of your receiver or does it give you an option to press start.

We need to know exactly which way your conecting your PC to your eurovox.

Are you using just 1 lead which is the one supplied with your eurovox?

The 9 pin male adaper into the lead which came with the euorvox...so the 9 pin lead is connected to my pc then into the lead with vox .

You need one cable like this which should have come with the box,



So take anything off that cable for now,

As said (3times ) do you have a socket on your Laptop that will accept this cable which will look like this,

You cant use a rs232 cable and nullmodem cable together you need to use the cable(hitecks first picture) that came with the box and one of these
USB to RS232 Serial Null Modem Cable COM DB 9 Pin Lead on eBay, also, Serial Cables, Cables Connectors, Computing (end time 29-Mar-09 14:59:33 BST)
or this
USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor > Maplin
