Bought box a month ago and worked fine for about a week and a half then a large % of the channels kept breaking up. My mate flashed it it with the latest firmwear I think ! and made sure it had the latest VM coding, worked fine again for about a week, then big problems again, seems to be losing the downloaded firmwear, don't what to keep asking my mate to sort and have contacted the firm with whom i purchased the box, waste of time, don't want to know once they've had your money. I'm now in the process of returning system to factory settings from the menu to see what this does, but not sure which firmwear I'll need to download afterwards HELP !

return to factory setting should be ok then after that it doesnt remove firmware

as jckw says m8 you can factory reset your box without it affecting the firmware on your box .
once you have done this do a power scan on it making sure you are scanning on the correct symbol rate for your area .
once it has finished leave it on sly sports 1 to update.
if you are in the uk m8 you should get your channels back.

Cheer's for the replies, Have re-set to factory settings, got some pictures back, but even basic channnels breaking up. screen keep coming up `Wait while softwear updated` when trying different channels, 30 minutes and same on screen message. Checked to see if I needed to update the codes manually, as I'd read on here how to do this and there was nothing, screen where codes usually are had all zero's on everything, had problem updating codes when first set, they had to be set up manually both times it's failed. Brought from Techdna, have tried contacting there tech. people, all I get is bog standard legal message back twice for 2 different queiries! Could this be a clone which I've read about on here ?

connect it to a direct feed no splitters see if that helps.

Have tried direct feed and Read the post about the `Three dead boxes` have also sent a message to Techdna on the Tech. site but as yet no reply !!!!!

go to the intro forum m8 and make another post you have to let the server update for about 15 mins.
