help most channels scrambled

I have lost half my channels says scrambled now sky movied and sky1 2 and 3 and sports 1 2 3 and xtra done a factory reset and done a power scan only found half the channels i had now UFL_EX5100PVR_DarX_16-01-09.exe is what i used to flash tried re flashing and the same can anyone help grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

make sure the box is on a direct feed with no splitters and do a deep scan

then reconnect the splitter because i use for the internet but u mean just use directly wile scanning. should i buy a signal booster i have seen them on e bay?

yeah use direct feed for scanning the reconnect. see if that helps, but wait before you buy a booster, one of the eurovox boys will be on soon mate and may have another solution if my advice doesnt work

its scanned and picked up everything just plugged back to splitter any trouble ill comment back on this thread. my dad has a booster and no signal trouble but i seem to have may need one i think

its gone back to crap again now worked at first now no or bad signal or scrambled or stuttering pic think ill get a booster does any one know where best place and make to get

go on fleadbay and search for konig booster mate. you want the yellow brick booster. bit more expensive than others, but a lot better

You only lose about 5% quality when using a splitter. If you had all the channels on the single feed then you lost them when using the splitter your splitter may be duff. Try a new splitter first.

Help for a (rather real stupid) laywoman in Dublin:

Having a Eurovox box (and not a Dreambox) I think I joined the wrong forum today. I lost all my sky-channels and understood (with my laywoman-brains) from the Dream-box forum that UPC is 'closing' the entrance to these channels. The guys there spoke of a certain kryptview? But, what the heck is that?

Can a laywoman like me do something with it? And if so, what does she have to do with it and where can she get the thing?

Otherwise, be honest: Would you advise me not to start with these technical things? Or won't it be as bad as I fear?
