I had a couple of channels not working, just a blank screen so decided to do a re-scan. By mistake I did a factory reset, now I can't get anything but FTA. I have re flashed it several times and re-scaned but all I get is 'code updating' message. I wish I had left it alone as I have buggered it now. I am using the nov 08 flash, I take it thats the correct one?

Can anyone help me? It's a Genuine Blue box.

Yep, I lost a couple too so I did the same thing and now I have the same issue.

do a factory reset on the box then a power scan making sure you are scanning on the correct symbol rate for your area.

I am using the correct the correct symbol rate and have done a power scanbut the code will not update. I have manualy entered the keys and it is now working. It remains to be seen if it will auto update on the next key roll. I have a feeling it will just go back to "updating code" message. What can I do?

did you factory reset your box first m8 to delete all channels.

I have done a factory reset, then flashed the box, then a power scan. There is a button on the pcb inside, any idea what this does? Will this do a hard reset or something?

did you leave on sly sports 1 for a while as sometimes the older boxes take time to emulate the keys m8

Done it! I can't find out what the button inside does, it just seems to re-boot the box. I went into the keys section and loaded the default keys. The keys all changed and I got the 'updating' message and all the keys updated as usual.

it should be ok now m8 as i said some boxes are very temperamental and may take a bit longer to find the new encryption.

Will a new powerscan overcome this?

I recently did a deep scan as i had lost sly sports 1 and itv 2 and 3 and a couple of others and after leaving it to its own devices for a while everything was fixed... and more! Sweet! This was on a EX5000. Hope this helps
