Used channel data file for area now alot of channels scrambled!

Hello people i was just wondering if i have done anything wrong here. i previously had channels that i had scanned for but i cleared the channels data.

I then used the cdf file for my area and used voxer to put the cdf file on the 5100pvr so my channels were then in order.

But alot of the channels keep coming up scrambled channel (even after say 15 mins) when they were working before on my old channel data.

Any ideas to what might be the problem here?

    Thanks

That sounds similar to my issues, it's not that they've moved; they literally are scrambled. Pressing info has all the data come up, good signal etc. It's just scrambled. I re-scanned about 5 times, flashed my box, and keyrolled (although I'm not sure how to key roll properly).

      I think we're doomed.

Slysports1 said scrambled yesterday do a update channel scan then press menu, language then 1968 twice and hilte default key and press ok
exit to save then unplug from mains then switch back on again and wait 5 mins on itv4
If you are in ireland then yes you will have issues if in uk they should work.

I'll give that a go when I get home. Can't hurt to try right?

          Thanks for your help.

All that did was wipe out my keys - i added them again and i seemed get the PPV channel back but s*y s****s and m***s are still showing as scrambled.

Would loading unsorted firmware make a difference?

              Try updating the channels.

              Menu
              Instalation
              User Instalation
              Update Channels (Red Button)

The screen wil go blank and it will take up to three minutes to find the freq before you see the channel list update.

Thats the problem, you need to give more info so you can be given the correct info.

Are you in Ireland or the UK? If you are in Ireland are you on NT* or Chor** ?

Are you sure you are in a Chor&s area, as most parts of Dublin are exNt* as far as I know.

How some parts of the North side of the City are Chor&s. If you tell me roughly where you are I may be able to tie it down.

BTW if you are on Chor&s you will still have all channels and your issue is firmware/key related. If you are on NT* then you have the same problem as everyone else in Ireland regards an encryption upgrade.

I'm in Dublin - southside, Blackrock.

                          I guess we are exNT*, although I thought we're C****S N*L now?

If that's the case, I may well be on N*L instead.

Which bring me back to my previous question on the upgrade from nagra 2 to 3 - is tis something my box can handle once the upgrade is complete or will I need a new box?

Anybody knows if the Irish/scrambled problem is fixed yet?
