Eurovox Ex7000 HD Picture Problems?

i brought a eurovox hd ex7000 and flashed it with the latest firmwire i got from here and also i have a full hd tv and put the hd scart in the tv to the box at 1080i which is should be the best quailty but im getting a poor picture the signal if high and fine but the picture isnt so great. The thing is when i press the ok button to view channel list the square box on the side where the picture view of the channel is much clear till i go back to normal channel view i dont understand why this is? Also i have 3 or 4 of the same channels even when i did the deep scan? please i really need your help members.

Try menu, config, tv settings and change the video output see if it makes a difference

i pressed menu then comes Ez Config at the bottom i pressed on that but cant see a sectin for video output?

It sounds like a dodgy HDMI lead ( i presume this is what you are using)
When you press the ok button to view channel list the square box on the side where the picture is will always look good as it compresses the picture.

if youre using a scart lead you wont get hi def picture you need to use an hdmi cable mines set to 1080i you can press the yellow button on your remote control or go into menu and use tv settings. also thingk youll benefit from setting the colours and sharpness etc. on your tv too

i sorted the problem out thanks everyone but now gold +1 channel is not that clear but others are i dont understand why
