eurovox blue

i have a eurovox blue and have dowmloaded the firmware but when i connect to pc all it says is no availble com port as i am new to the tech age all be it 38 is there any advice out there to help ,would be grateful ,reason for doing this is some of the channels or breaking up and make a high pitch noise through the tv and the picture is showing pixels
