    iwantabox.com

Does anyone know if these guys are noted for selling clones or are they generally good guys.

I am getting virgin media installed next friday and would hate to buy a cloned box as these seem to be poor quality etc.

Or does anybody know of a better place to buy?

No clones according to their website.

Check out the "Why Buy From Us" section.

I got 2 starview boxes from them (dvb-c and dvb-t) from the about a year ago, no problems with them. Prompt delivery. Have since sold them to someone else and upgraded to a CubeRevo which cost alot more.
I would suggest that you have a look at Dbros.co.uk - Home Page which sell excellent stuff and excellent support.

I usually dont like stepping on toes,, but here is a post from elsewhere about iwantabox.

Take care not to buy from iwantanbox.com. Bought EX5100 from them and got brutal service afterwards. Couldn't help with technical issues.

Get this...just asked them a question on it's functionality and this reply comes back... "Don't know, I don't have and EX5100" !!!
I wasn't really asking a personal question - I was looking for help and this is what I get back from their Tech Support!!!

              Hi

Iwantabox Satbox4u, Boxmagic, Digi-force are all owned by 1 person. They all have different prices, different warranty periods & different returns policies.

              my reply was
They are leechers,,, they send there customers to great forums like ours..
Tell them you want a refund under warranty, and do the sensible thing and buy from a reputable dealer who offers FULL support,,

Hmm, might give them a pass then. What about digi-force.co.uk or mycablebox.co.uk? Anyone had experience from these 2 companies?

I've checked out Dbros but there a bit too expensive for me.

                Or bubblesupplies.co.uk

I had absolute terrible service from Skywonder as mentioned above.
They are the pits.. if you want me to go into it I will.
                  Avoid at all costs!

Im not really fussed who owns iwantabox i been using them for long time now and no problems. Id prob be a bit worried if they were giving out FULL support cause then its only a matter of time before they get raided and a good site is shut down, we must remember were talking about dodgy boxes here not a playstation out of hmv. They seem sound guys so im sure theyd do more if they could... and besides thats what are good forums like this for!!

SKYWONDER as no association with the other named suppliers,.... nameing and pointing fingers is easy,..comming up with hard evidence is another thing.
