Another FTA EX5100 firmware req

Can anyone please post the factory firmware for the EX5100
As you've prob read in my other thread im having lots of troub getting my ex5100 to record to the hdd .
my problem is i think it is now deff the box but ofc sending it back with the dark firmware is a big no no .

I did see your post and tried to help but you didnt see my responce,

Factory Default your box with the HDD out, now re-flash with the new firmware leaving the HDD out.

turn box off at mains, insert the HDD all the way in, factory default again then powerscan, your HDD should now work fine.

OK when you plug the HDD back in what are you trying to do to view the recording. Have you actually recoreded anything on it yet explain what the problem is in as much detail as possible.

When the hdd is installed I get a ?hard drive is full or not installed? message
the hdd is a wd120 recomended and purchased from mycablebox
I have tried everything inc ignoring the message just pressing rec, resetting the box, installing the drive in a brand new out of the box condition i.e. not formatted or partitioned, also formatted fat 32, formatted fat32 with active partition took the top off the box all pins are sweet the hdd is sat perfect so is the hdd circit board that connects to the mainboard ect ect nothing works.
as yet ive recorded nothing on the hard drive
i do belive its a fault with the box but like i say i know if i send it back with the current firmware on im just wasting my postage money.
also ive been everywere i can think of even eurovox's official website and emailed them but it dont look like the officail FTA software is out there for the ex5100

Press menu, config, system info, what does it say in there?. Also I presume if you have taken the lid off and that the seal is broken? if so they probably wont take it back as that voids the warranty.

hi,
it says model dvb-xc ex5100 tda s/w ver 1.0 st4 jan 16 2009 h/w ver 2.0t k5 +d bootstrap v001 s/w build kuro .
also as you say once the seal is broken i would have said the g/tee is void .but i was told by the box supplier that just solong as i lifted the lid for a visual inspection and nothing else they would honor the g/tee (as this is what they will do when the box is returned to them )

ohh does the +D in the h/w ver mean its detected the drive

No it doesn't,

Have you asked them to replace the HDD only. I haven't seen the FTA firmware anywhere.

nope i havent thing is the hdd formats in windows and i can set it to any kind of config i try ie fat 16 32 ntfs .
i can drag n drop files from it perfectly so i dont think its the drive
heres what im going to try next i have a 7000 hd+ with a external hdd working perfect in the front room id like to mirror the recordings off the 700 external to my 2.5wd120(out the ex5100)
i know windows wont recognise the files or format so if anyone out there knows of any good drive copying /mirror software plz shout up

hi have you tried pressing record?
i had same problem kept pressing pvr and showed error hd full or not installed then pressed rec and it did so try it
