is there any need to update the oct 28 2008 firmware on ex5000

my box is working fine get all the movies ect... also have no problems getting ppv boxing it just comes up on ppv sub when the fight is on if i updated my firmware what benifits would happen.......thanks

If you are having no problems why not leave the firmware alone, everyone recieves the same channels no matter which firmware is on.

you will see no benefits if you put the later software on your box,,

the later firmware has a signal booster built in,, and thats all the difference is,,

follow the golden rule,, dont fix what aint broke
