EX5100 Hard drive takes ages to start recording

When i press the REC button it says please wait, recording will start or something on the lines of that.

once it stops freezing for a minute it then stops recording.

I have taken out and put back the hard drive..

whats wrong??

That's how it works mate I'm afraid, it takes about 10 secs to allocate the disk drive assignment

I had euro ex5100 it is very slow at recording

also try not 2 take the HDD out as much coz that will have an effect as well.
