Hi lately my cable box is suffering from 8% signal on some channels.my set-up is eurovox downstairs into parents bedroom(another vox-works fine)signal splits and runs to loft and splits again into my sisters room and my room.there is a cable booster in my mums bedroom which i think maybe faulty.signal strength in my mums room is around 85% but in me and me sis's voxes its around 70%...can anyone give me some suggestions on how to improve the signal quality in my room?

u can buy an amp/booster that acts like a splitter -
Hi! mines is a max v 2008 and my sisters is a xl1000,it is strange coz the signal on eurosport1 is 83/84% but on eurosport2 e.g its 8% = no signal .but from the main feed downstairs all channels work on the two boxes so it's definitely a signal issue and nout to do with the box being faulty or the firmware.sentanta2 is 87% whereas channels like bbc3,bbc4itv2,itv3five usa,fiver,sky2,sky3 etc,etc are getting this 8% no signal issue problem.I am really confused as to what would sort this as there is a signal booster in me mams room.Comment

well I removed the booster from me mams room as it is a 220v with a uk power plug on it.then i went up to the loft and just moved the cables around a bit and got all the channels back in both rooms without the booster.quality on most channels is 85% so I guess I just didnt do a good job of splitting the connection or it could be cos its a cheap splitter or the cheap cable i used!well anyway problem sorted I may redo the split in the future with better quality stuff.thanks for all the help yall

my mate had same signal problem it was not a weak signal but a too strong signal. so he put attuenator on his feed now no problemsComment
