hi all when i do a scan i lose my channel settings as in favorites sports etc how do i upload them to my comp then after a scan i can then put my own settings back so i dont waste 1/2 an hour sorting it ?

hi mate,,

you need "voxer" software to upload/download channel data from pc to box and vice versa,,

one thing to bear in mind,,if you upload your channel data to your pc,, then scan your box,, when you then download your channel data from your pc onto your box this will ovewrite all the channels that you have scanned in,,

the loading of a "cdf" (channel data file) means you dont have to powerscan

but whats a cdf file. i only do a scan if i ve had to do a flash as it usually wipes all the channels i think or am i doing a scan when i dont need to ?

a cdf file is what you have just created by uploading your channel data to your pc,,

this you can then share with other people in your area

or download it to your box after flashing to eliminate the need to scan at all
